Recipe Name: Tomato-Basil Sauce

Spices: Organic Basil, Organic Garlic Blend, Sea Salt

Ingredients:
3 tablespoons Organic Basil
1/2 cup red wine or water
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
2 diced shallots
3 garlic cloves, minced or 2 Tabelspoons Organic Garlic Blend
1 6oz. can tomato paste
1 pound dried pasta
Parmesan cheese
1 Tablespoon (or to taste) Sun Dried New Zealand Sea Salt

Directions:
1) In a large pot bring water to a boil and cook pasta. Meanwhile, In a skillet, heat olive oil over med-high heat.
2) Sauté shallots until they are translucent. Stir in tomato paste and garlic. Cook for one min. Deglaze the pan with the red wine and add basil. Simmer until pasta is finished.
3) Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water and add it to the sauce. Toss sauce with pasta and garnish with Parmesan.
